Coffee is so good to sit and enjoy before you have to get to the real work of the day. I have listed two blogs in my bloglist that are like mental cups of coffee. Just like a deep, rich roast perfectly brewed they can be savored and enjoyed before the real work comes. I am new to Alicia B. Designs and have not fully explored it. Old World Charm is a fast rising star. Both of these blogs are chock full of sticky, sweet eye candy and will have you thinking of ways to transform your space using some of the ideas you see.
Hope you have time to sip in some beauty with your morning coffee today. Happy sipping!

My favorite things
I'll post about my favorite things often. The items pictured are not necessarily particular favorites, but rather a fave aesthetic. I love everything French country. Not exclusively, just a lot. The vinegar bottle in the picture belonged to my great-grandmother and is part of a set of lovely, albeit imperfect, canisters. I hope to include them in my dream kitchen someday, which is , mais oui, French country.
First day-Epiphany
This is my new blog dedicated to all that is lovely and delectable, both edible and not. My interior decorating blog and business are on the backburner since my baby was born in April. I keep my hand in by writing for Examiner.com . I hope to include excerpts from some of those articles and include personal insights that I would have to leave out of those articles.
I also want to include other culinary adventures, tips, and little projects along the way that are outside the scope of my Examiner writing and other blog.
It just so happens that I am starting this on January 6, Epiphany. I'll just pretend that it's significant.
